Our Story

Squiggle is part of a parent owned venture, Aboroni Solutions Private Limited, with a mission to make playtime free of plastic and toxins!

When our daughter was born, like every first time parent we were on cloud nine…wanted to buy the world for her!! Along with gifts from our loved ones, our house started piling up with toys, tableware and tons of cute & bright little baby things ^-^

As we started to babyproof and sterilize, we realized that most stuffs, be it feeding bottles, teethers, toys, puzzles, etc… in our little one’s world were made of plastic! :O

We started researching and reading...and listening to doctors, influencers and parents across the world! 

FIRST REALIZATION - PLASTICS, rather microplastics, are everywhere…and so much more in a baby’s life! :( 

As our little one started putting everything in her mouth, out went plastics and in came wooden stuffs.

Then she started crawling, walking, running and all of these on or with her toys as well - hurting and tripping over on hard blocks. Add to that, her discovery of gravity and she was throwing her toys at us, other kids and around the house, so out went wood!

Only items left for her to play with were her soft plushy toys but they couldn’t be washed or sterilized and options were getting less everyday.

We started looking for safe, toxin free products which would be soft and could be kept clean and germs free easily. After spending considerable time and doing a thorough research, we landed upon silicone!

And thus began the journey of ‘Squiggle’ - with a mission to not only gift a safe, toxin free childhood to our daughter but also to millions of other children so that their parents can feel relieved like us!
